CALL FOR PAPERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

One of the biggest challenges of our world today is to understand the reasons that stood behind the past economic crisis and how to stimulate future economic growth. Given its further possibilities of development, a crucial insight of modern theories in Economics can be drawn by focusing on the past and the present. While the past has not been as thoroughly analyzed as it should have been, we can see that it\u2019s providing the opportunity of exploring untapped historical data to shed new light on today\u2019s problems.<\/p>\n\n

The prime objective of\u00a0ECEU conference<\/strong>\u00a0is to facilitate the interaction between the scholars from Economics academic area, aiming multidisciplinary cooperation, along with academics from others different areas as well as, exchange knowledge of available data and the state-of-the art approaches.<\/p>\n\n

The\u00a0ECEU conference<\/strong>\u00a0in Bucharest will offer an opportunity to share and discuss ideas and research pertaining to these questions. Organizers from the\u00a0Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0The Bucharest University of Economic Studies<\/strong>\/Academia de Studii Economice din Bucure\u0219ti (ASE) invite both established researchers and Ph.D. or master students to submit their scientific work.\u00a0We particularly welcome research into general economic issues, from an economical, business or economic thinking perspective or into less widely known aspects of nowadays economics.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Interested academics and practitioners are invited to submit<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n

Research papers<\/strong>: complete papers with complete references section.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Short papers<\/strong>: this could be research in progress, abstracts, ideas you would like to explore with audience at the conference, or draft of papers for possible co-authorship:\u00a0 (max. 5 pages or 1500 words)\u00a0\u2013 not up for publishing.<\/p>\n\n

Virtual presentation<\/strong>\u00a0is available if you are unable to attend conference activities in person.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and contribution.\u00a0 It is\u00a0ECEU\u00a0<\/strong>policy to make efforts\u00a0to send complete papers to two reviewers for full blind peer review.\u00a0 Submitted Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n

Possibility of publication<\/strong>: The participants will be able to choose where they want to publish their papers. You can choose to publish your work in a collective volume, under the University of Economic Studies\u2019 Publishing House, or in Theoretical and Applied Economics Journal, which listed in EconLit, RePec, DOAJ, EBSCO and ICAAP.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

<\/strong>\u2022 <\/span>Notification of acceptance: 14th<\/sup>\u00a0of February 2020
<\/strong>\u2022 <\/span>Full paper and participation fee: 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0of March 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Fees:<\/strong>\u00a0There is a participation fee of 50 Euro per paper<\/em><\/strong>, which covers the publishing fees, the coffee breaks and the lunch gala for one participant.\u00a0For any extra papers or participants you will be charged with an additional 20 euro per paper\/ participant.<\/em><\/p>\n\n
