We are pleased to invite you to the\u00a022nd<\/sup>\u00a0International Conference on Economic Convergence in European Union (ECEU)<\/strong>\u00a0which will take place on\u00a015th-16th May 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Organized by\u00a0The Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics<\/strong>, the ECEU conference is a\u00a0multidisciplinary forum fostering interaction and knowledge exchange among scholars from diverse research fields<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming various sectors of the economy, and its impact on economic systems is profound and far-reaching. This year the main topic of the conference is dedicated to explore the ways in which AI is reshaping the economic landscape with a particular focus on the potential of AI to enhance productivity, innovation, and economic growth. Additionally, we will welcome papers that address the public policy responses required to address the challenges associated with AI adoption, such as job displacement, income inequality, economic disruption, digital divide or legal and regulatory challenges. By bringing together scholars from all over the world, the 22nd International Conference on Economic Convergence in European Union (ECEU) aims to foster insightful discussions and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the economic implications of AI and explore strategies to navigate the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.<\/p>\n

Participants are requested to submit their papers via email to<\/strong>\u00a0eceu@ase.ro<\/a><\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The number of authors per paper is limited to five.<\/p>\n

The paper will include an abstract of no more than 100 words, a list of 5 keywords, and the email addresses of all authors. Submitted papers must be 15 pages (A4) maximum, with 1.0 line spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, including notes and references. The Harvard referencing style will be applied.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process, evaluated on criteria such as novelty, originality, relevance, scientific rigor, methodological design, results, and overall contribution to the field. In accordance with ECEU policy, every effort will be made to subject complete papers to a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Submissions must be original and should not have been previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Publication opportunities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Selected papers will be published in a Special issue of\u00a0Theoretical and Applied Economics Journal<\/em>, indexed in EconLit, RePec, DOAJ, EBSCO and ICAAP.<\/p>\n

Best papers will be considered for publication in Web of Science indexed journals.<\/p>\n
